Turning up prepared makes a private survey faster and more accurate. Here is the paperwork a surveyor typically needs.

Private Survey · 4 min read · By SANAD Team

A private surveyor works from your ownership and reference records to locate and measure the parcel. Having these ready avoids repeat visits and errors.

Ownership proof

The latest RTC (Pahani) and the registered sale/gift/partition deed establish who owns the parcel and its recorded extent.

Reference sketches

The Tippani, Akarbandh and any earlier survey sketches let the surveyor align the ground measurement with official geometry and adjoining parcels.

Documents & details checklist

  • Latest RTC (Pahani)
  • Registered deed (sale / gift / partition)
  • Mutation (MR) extract in the current owner’s name
  • Tippani / survey sketch and Akarbandh
  • Identity proof of the owner
  • Details of adjoining survey numbers and owners, if known
